The last post on this blog was February of 2005, the day that I got diagnosed with RA. So much has changed since then and now my life is completely different. Since that day my health has become an obsession. So now I will begin to share my story of recovery and change and all of the things that I continue to learn along the way.

Welcome to my journey.

Breathe

Now and again, it is necessary to seclude yourself among deep mountains and hidden valleys to restore your link to the source of life. Breathe in and let yourself soar to the ends of the universe; breathe out and bring the cosmos back inside. Next, breathe up all fecundity* and vibrancy of the earth. Finally, blend the breath of heaven and the breath of earth with your own, becoming the Breath of Life itself

The Art of Peace

Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969)
The Art of Peace begins with you. Work on yourself and your appointed task in the Art of Peace. Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here for no other purpose than to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment. Foster peace in your own life and then apply the Art to all that you encounter

Inspiration

I had never considered putting together a blog, but my good friend Dave has inspired me. So I will start small. So many people/things inspire me and I will share some of this with you in the coming days.

You can view Dave's blogger and his post about my beautiful Grandma (whom is no longer with us) and some of Dave's memories of her...by the way made me cry. I'm so glad I got to share her with Dave, she loved him so much she really wanted me to marry him! He is a big part of the reason I was able to realize one of my greatest dreams! And she was the greatest inspiration of my life! Thanks Dave.
